Our Travel BUG Rewards are a simple opportunity for you to get something back for taking the time to contribute great content that our community will enjoy.

(and it really doesn’t matter if you receive no thumbs-up in the first month or so ... as our community grows, new members with new interests will come on board and there’s always a chance your guide may hit the top spot in the future).

How does it work?

Each month, we will be awarding a fantastic prize to the author of the travel guide which receives the most “thumbs-up”, as voted for by the Thelma & Louise community. It doesn't matter when you upload your guide, you always have a chance of winning either in this months reward period or subsequent ones. So whether you are budding travel writer or just want to have fun sharing your travel advice,  write a travel guide and you could get a helping hand from Thelma and Louise towards your next trip ... how cool is that!

It’s really easy to get involved ...

1. Publish your online travel guide on thelmandlouise.com at any point (by clicking on “Add a travel guide” button in the TRAVEL GUIDES section or using the GET INVOLVED block on your PROFILE page). You can enter as many guides as you wish, as long as they are written by you and based on your personal travel experience.
    
2. All thumbs-up for your guide within each calendar month period will be automatically tallied and the top guide (as determined by the total number of thumbs-up) will win the monthly reward (subject to terms and conditions below).
    
3. You don’t need to watch how many votes you get ... we will do that for you. If your guide receives the most thumbs-up in the month, we will send you a notification email no later than two weeks after the month end. You will also see your guide appear on the front page of the TRAVEL GUIDE section.
    
4. So why not get involved ... become an active contributor! Also please read other members’ guides ... if you find them useful or inspirational (or both, which counts as two votes) then give them a thumbs-up (this can be done by going to a guide and scrolling to the bottom of the guide content).
    
5. Make sure you have added your PROFILE picture and a paragraph or two in the ABOUT ME field in your PROFILE, as we will need you to have completed these in order to receive your prize.
    
6. That’s all there is to it ... simple!
