An easy way to share and find trip ideas
Given the popularity of the Forum for sharing ideas for trips and searching for travel companions, we wanted to take this one step further and create a focused feature to allow you to find and share trip ideas more easily.
Whether you want to share a trip idea with friends on the site or open the idea up to the wider community, you can now get your idea out there and kick start the process of planning and getting people together.
Although we only have example trip ideas present at the moment, we hope that following the official launch we will be able to offer great trips through a number of partner companies in addition to member ideas. Again, we hope to create useful tools and features that our community can use together and Thelma and Louise can contribute to in order to provide a great space for us all to engage.

Hello I am looking to travel
Hello I am looking to travel to Goa in March. I want to spend about 10 days there relaxing (a spa/yoga.. but nothing too serious). About mid-range in price (safe, clean, quiet).
Any advice is most welcome.

Went to Goa 2 years ago in March. The weather was sweltering could not have coped without aircon. We chose a small family run hotel because when I did my research the 4 and 5 star hotels had appauling reviews it seemed the larger the hotel the less the locals found them hard to clean etc If you want to avoid stomach troubles eat in the little local restaurants which use bottled water to clean salads etc the larger expensive hotel restaurant was where I got food poisoning which was very nasty and required 2 doctors visits and an injection and 3 lots of meds. The more upmarket eateries use a water filtration system that works intermitently Still its a fascinating place and I would go again Beach shacks seem to be safe places to eat

Hi - has anyone been on a Hurtigruten boat trip on the Norwegian fjords ? I've booked 4 day boat trip from Trondheim to Kirkenes and would love to hear from anyone who has done same - going in June and planning to include long train trip, couple days in Oslo and a peep at the Russian border.!
