Just to add to Tammy's message - we cannot get into the Manor until 4pm; so if any of you ladies is driving down from London on the 17th May & goes anywhere near the airport, or could indeed suggest a tube station where you could meet, I am sure she would be very grateful. Kerin may also fly into London too. Both ladies from the US are joining us at Middle Chine for the week.

I can't offer you a ride Tammy, but if you don't get one, you could get the tube from Heathrow into London (Picadilly Line) and get off at Leicester Square, where I could meet you. Then we could lunch in London, maybe do a quick tour around (don't know if you've been before), before catching the train together to Bournemouth, which is 1.45hrs journey from London Waterloo station. Maybe someone down there already would pick us up from Bournemouth station.....

Tammy I am heading that way on 17th and will happily take you and Karen to your accommodation. I'm fairly close to Heathrow so it would not be a problem to come back home in between if you both arrive at different times. Not a large car so hopefully not huge amounts of luggage - though sure we could manage. Just let me know.

Hi Anita, That sound great. I've never been to the U.K. before and doing lunch and sightseeing in London would be really nice. Is sightseeing possible with luggage? Also, I'm probably going to get some sleep on the plane and then the excitement of being somewhere new will keep me awake. Sheila, If this works out with Anita, the ride will be appreciated. There are usually facilities for leaving luggage at main line stations. You won't want to carry your stuff far if Anita is going to show you some sites. She left yesterday for Burma so won't be able to reply to your message yet!

I've just booked my flight into LHR and arrive at 10:15 am on the 17th. I believe I'm signed up for the Bournemouth ride with Jill and Tammy. As far as lunch or London sightseeing, I am game for anything, too! No pressure Jill - whatever works for you is fine with me and I'm sure for Tammy too.

My offer stands -a lift from Heathrow to Bournemouth but as I intend to avoid Friday afternoon traffic, which can be horrendous, I will be heading off to Bournemouth around 2ish with a possible quick detour into the New Forest - I love the ponies. Therefore I won't be heading into London but there is no hurry to confirm, it is months away yet.
