I went online to get the names, when I arrived home, only to find that the event had already been taken off, which is amazing really when you think how long it takes to get spam taken off!!

If you go to the events page and highlight 5th on the calendar it should bring the event up and then you should be able to go into it and find the details but I think it may only be there for today x

Thanks Annie and Helen for arranging the pm in Manchester.What a large turn out!!!Great to meet people from as far as Barrow in Furness and Nottingham...Several ladies from Preston Cheshire and Shropshire as well.Hopefully we might arrange a day in Chester [which might get some of the southern T+Ls to come up for a weekend-who knows?Take care and enjoy your hold Jo x

A weekend in Chester would be great. I love the city and so much to do there.

It was a good turn out - far more than I expected. Normally you have people who say they are coming and then don't bother to turn up. In this case not only did everyone who said they would come, turn up (apart from one lady who emailed me yesterday morning to say she was ill) but all but one of the maybes turned up too. It was great to meet everyone and just shows you how far ladies will come to meet one another. The afternoon went very quickly. Hopefully I will organise some other things in Manchester such as meals or museum/theatre visits which I realise not everyone will be able to attend but it would be good to keep in touch. Sounds like you had a great time. I live in London but I also have a holiday/weekend cottage in North Wales (about a 30 minute drive from Chester along the A55). So perhaps if you do organise a meet up in Chester, I could travel up with and accommodate a small southern contingency of T&L ladies for the weekend (I have 3 double beds so if the ladies didn't mind top and tailing I could host 6 for a weekend).

Great idea for you and some of the Southern ladies to come to Chester. I'd be happy to help with arrangements and think AnnieV would also. I live about 30mins drive from Chester - maybe we could arrange something for later in the year??
