Hi everyone

As there was lots of interest in the idea of going to see War Horse, I've looked into getting tickets before Christmas but the Saturday matinees are all booked up, so we are going for Saturday 8 January at 2.30pm (something to look forward to after Christmas!).

We're also going to go for a meal afterwards at Strada at 5.30pm, so if you'd like to join us please sign up under the separate event.

Thanks everyone and glad you enjoyed the show! It was so well done I've been recommending it to everyone I know since. And I look forward to seeing how the film version turns out, but can't imagine it'd have the same magic as the stage version. Lovely to meet you all and have such a good turn out (13 of us for the show and 9 for dinner in the end) - I know crested__grebe has a few theatre plans in the pipeline so hope to see you all at something else again soon, Lucy

Thank you so much for organising this, Lucy. I really enjoyed this truly imaginative production. It has such a wide appeal that I am not suprised that it attracts so many people to see it.

I just wanted to say 'Thank You' to Lucy for being the driving force in arranging the outing to 'War Horse' on Saturday. It was an excellent play & totally lives up to all the great reviews it has had. I had not read the book, so was not sure what the story was, beyond the obvious. I'm so glad I went to see it. It was also nice to meet up with other T&L members, and although I didn't have much chance to chat, it's always interesting to put faces to names. Maybe I'll meet you all again in the future. Thanks again.

I just wanted to add my thanks to Lucy for arranging this trip to the theatre. The production was fantastic and very moving - be prepared to get out the tissues!
I doubt if I would have been motivated enough to get to London alone without T&L and Lucy's efforts.
Thank you once again and have a wonderful trip to Bali later this year.
