WOW is our annual global festival where women and men of all ages and backgrounds celebrate women’s achievements and discuss the obstacles they face across the world.
It runs Wednesday 6 – Sunday 10 March with a fantastic range of talks, debates, performances and workshops from both established and emerging talent covering topics including politics, the arts, economics, fashion, science, health, sport, business and education. Take part in speed-mentoring, networking opportunities and more.
Speakers and panellists at the WOW Weekend will include Naomi Wolf, Julie Walters, Sarah Brown, Ahdaf Souief, Jenni Murray and Michael Kimmel and Michael Kaufman (authors of A Guy’s Guide to Feminism). As part of our evening programme (ticketed separately) the festival welcomes Pulitzer Prize-winning author Alice Walker, singers Angelique Kidjo + Fatoumata Diawara, and comedy from Sandi Toksvig (hosting Mirth Control) among others.
