Sandbanks week with 27 T&Ls;

A wave and a hug, a heartfelt embrace.
The warm recognition on somebody's face.
The Thelmas arrive, the Louises too,
the newbies, the old school, all T&L crew.

"all T&L crew..."

Here is a little poem that sums up the great organisation and the wonderful week we all had in Bournemouth.

A wave and a hug, a heartfelt embrace.
The warm recognition on somebody's face.
The Thelmas arrive, the Louises too,
the newbies, the old school, all T&L crew.

We come from all places, across the UK,
not forgetting our friends from the US of A.
The chat starts to build, the ebb and the flow,
the kettle is on and the wine's on the go.

The ease of the banter, refreshing to see,
the plans for the week all discussed carefully,
There's Monkey World, food fairs, a trip to Brownsea,
walks in the rain and then karaoke.

There's fish and chips after a walk in the sun,
there's cream tea,
there's fossils,
a pop quiz is done.

It's something to be there, to see such a crowd.
Whether timid, gregarious, funny or loud.
Everybody contributes, each in their own way,
to make sure the Manor's a memorable stay.

And to Sheila and Val,
who posted Sandbanks,
we offer again
the group's most heartfelt thanks
