Beyond Long Bay, the coast road sweeps spectacularly below cliffs and around the calm reaches of Manchioneal Bay before turning inland again. A signposted road to the right winds upwards through the rainforest to the beautiful Reach Falls that cascade from Drivers River. The green pools at the bottom of the fall are at least 4 ft (1.2 m) deep with crystal-clear water and pebbled floor.

The surrounding area has been developed by the government and has new changing facilities, a visitors’ center, and refreshment outlets. However, the falls have suffered a little from development, losing their unspoilt quality. Still, the deep main pool is beautiful and visitors can also follow the river upstream to seek out underground caves and more swimming spots nearby.
