Countryside in Alsace

In advance of meeting up with a tour in Zagreb, Croatia, I would like to go to Alsace if U.S.'ers are allowed in September of 2021.

My grandmother was born near Strasbourg and emigrated as a child to the U.S.

I'd like to explore the city a bit but prefer staying in the countryside.

I would like to hike to the Pagan Wall perhaps - open to staying in a small village for a few days. It would be okay to just get together for a bit of exploring if you are on your own.

After Alsace, I'm traveling to Lake Bled in Slovenia, hiking for one day in Plitvice National Park in Croatia, before meeting up with the tour in Zagreb.

I'm open to listening to what you want to do!
