2 week trip to Northern Greece starting with scenic rail trip Athens to Thessaloniki, then road trip to Veria and ancient sites in the area, on to Vikos Gorge area, plus hiking in Vikos Gorge and sightseeing in this picturesque area of mountain villages, ancient bridges etc. A few days at the coast in Sivota then back to Thessaloniki via Prespa Lakes on Albanian border and Edessa. Stay mid range hotels (atmospheric buildings).
