Your Included Itinerary
Day 1 SUNDAY – We travel to Dover for the ferry crossing to Calais continuing for an overnight stay in the Metz area at a select hotel.
Day 2 MONDAY – We make our way today into Italy and our base in Montecatini Terme, we stay for four nights at our select hotel.
Day 3 TUESDAY – Florence
A wonderful day to enjoy Florence, birthplace of the Renaissance and Italy's city of art, situated on the banks of the River Arno offering an abundance of cultural delights. Visit the famous Ponte Vecchio, the great Duomo or watch the world go by in the Piazza della Signoria.
Day 4 WEDNESDAY – Rome
Today we enjoy a long full day excursion to the spectacularcity of Rome. Visit the imposing Colosseum – with images of great Gladiatorial battles – and the serenity of the Vatican City and the beautiful Sistine Chapel. Sample the wonderful al-fresco restaurants and cafes and discover the many Piazzas, the famous Spanish Steps and the stunning Trevi Fountain, where you can toss in a coin for good luck!
Day 5 THURSDAY – Pisa
A delightful half day excursion today to Pisa, where fine Italian façades and the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa await. The Tower is situated on the green carpet of the Piazza dei Miracoli, one of the most famous squares in Italy and now a UNESCO World Heritage site. There are plenty of architectural and artistic marvels in this beautiful city including the Duomo di Pisa and the Battistero with its large round dome and many sculptured decorations.
Day 6 FRIDAY – We depart our hotel and travel to the Metz area for our overnight at a select hotel.
Day 7 SATURDAY – Return to Calais for the ferry crossing to Dover, continuing home.
