Hi, I'm Maria. I'm a 30-year-old Chicagoan planning a March 2014 trip to the following cities, in order, from B to B: Budapest, Vienna, Brno (just for a day trip), Prague, and Berlin. I can't wait!

Right now there is a slight possibility one of my friends will be accompanying me for most of my trip. If she does join me, I will still be in Berlin a few days longer.

I would love to meet other travelers. While I likely will be checking out a few touristy things, I am also interested in seeing how the locals live--delving beyond the surface. I love good food but am not looking to break the bank in satisfying my appetite. :) I love the spa and yoga, and I plan to check out a few spas in Pest and Berlin and a yoga class in Berlin.... Planning to stay in an apartment rental in Berlin, too. I'll be staying at carefully chosen hotels for the other cities. :) Can't wait to see Klimt and Schiele at the Leopold Museum in Vienna--that will be a major highlight for me, I know it.

I never tire of walking--I think exploring on foot is the best way to see your surroundings. Wander the European streets with me! Feel free to send me a message. I love the arts, literature, yoga, and learning about different cultures. If you think you'll be in any of the cities I'm headed to at the same time, let's be pen pals. :)
