I have taken this fall off from school to travel through Europe and grow deeper in my faith. I will be walking the Camino de Santiago from Lourdes through Spain and I will be taking the Portugal route down to Fatima to be there on October 13, the anniversary of the miracle of the sun.  I was hoping to be in Rome for the canonization of Pope John Paul II (rumor had it Oct. 20 was going to be the day but now it is very up in the air and I am not sure of my plans after Fatima now).  I was hoping to go to the Vatican, to Assisi, to Medjugorje, and to visit the Eucharistic miracle sites in the meantime before I head to Isreal.  I originally planned this adventure as a me and God type of trip, but now I'm starting to realize a companion would really be comforting. I need some advice on how to get to all these places and what all to see--someone I could share the experience with.  When I go to Isreal I was hoping to walk from Nazareth to Bethlehem on the path that Mary and Joseph trode but I fear I don't realize how scary it could be for a 19 year old girl to be traveling alone in foreign lands.  Does anyone have some advice on where to go and what to see and the best method of transportation?  If anyone would like to join me on my endeavors I would love to have someone accompany me!

Thank you!
