It saddens me that I have to post this message but I think it is time to clear up some misinformation about this trip. Ever since it was posted on the website (almost a year ago now), there has never been any intention of excluding ladies who are not resident at the Manor from any of the events going on outside during the week. However, reading through some of the comments posted recently, it appears that rumours are circulating that this is not the case. So, I would like to say to those ladies who have been misinformed:
- you are welcome to join in with anything. There is no signing-up order, as Anita says, first- come first-served. Mo - your comment on the Lyme Regis event concerned me. Why should you feel hesitant to sign up?
- there are some events already posted but I know many ladies won’t decide what they are doing until they arrive - the weather will play an important part in this.
- to the ladies who have questioned my integrity regarding access to the site, I attach a letter of confirmation from Emma of the Big Cottage Company below. It disappoints me that I have had to resort to this.
- to the individual who suggested I am a ‘power hungry female’ - this speaks volumes about you.
So, I hope everyone will find something they fancy & join up - it will be good to see you there. Having said that, this is the first major gathering I have organised & it will also be my last. The harassment I have received from some individuals over the past few months is beyond belief & not what I expected from T & L members. As always, sincere thanks to those very few ladies who know what has been going on over the past few months, for their support. I also feel I need to apologise to our American friends who are joining us for having to read such adverse comments on this site.
