Take a Hike.... a long hike!

Won't break the bank

I have a crazy wish to do the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada. I love hiking and this would be the ultimate achievement. Just at the end of a hiking holiday in Oregon where I walked part of it and was even more inspired. This would be a huge commitment and I can not deny I'm a little scared but if anyone is crazy enough even to consider it please let me know

Very early stages yet.  There is a lot of informaion on the PCT if you search the interent.  I can recommend Wild by Cheryl Strayed.  The book is far better than the film.

It is a long term project which I would like to complete before or around my 60th birthday which is September 2019.

The trail has to be completed in the summer months.  This may all be 'pie in the sky'  but hopeing.....

.......... up date...

I am now nearly in my 60th year and I don't think I am going to manage this in 2020, But who knows!  Thanks to all those of you who have commented.  I haven't used T & L sufficiently to realised that comments were not sent to my email so hence no replies to anyone.

I am off to India in February.  That trip is well into the planning stage and on T&L if anyone is interested.
